RE: RE: RE: Acquisition I totally agree with you. A company could make their money back in a year probably. Just gut all the PMG staff, maybe keep on some operations guys to operate the wells if you don't have your own crew in Colombia.
It would be a nice source of cashflow, plus the pipeline asset you mentioned. Also, a huge land position for future development. It would seem like a no brainer for any big operator in Colombia.
Downside possibility is that the company does not get bought, PMG just keeps drilling dry wells and production and reserve declines are not replaced...we would have to borrow to keep financing our capital program and our shares price is eventually driven into oblivion.
Since I got stuck with some $9 shares last week I hope for a buyout....but buyouts aren't that common. Lots of companies want to add reserves when they make an acquisition and PMG doesn't have big reserves. Hopefully someone sees the merit I've discussed above, it's actually an easy money maker.
