RE: rrRE: RE: RE: RE: betting on US recovery Thankyou for your comments Tentops1. Your right, this is unfortunately not the right form for this chat on general politics or economic. However, IMC I am sure is looking at all aspects of it's business as a part of DD and considering the long term profitablity of this deal.
You quoted Margret Thatcher on Socialism. Well, here is a quote from humble middle class me.
" The problem with Capitolism is that a Very Small Minority will succeed at the the expense of the VAST MAJORITY". This is the nature of very right wing Capitolism based on the WINNER LOSER phylosophy of life. It takes a Great many Losers to produce just one Winner! American Capitolism is like a complex form of a " Lottery " many participate in a hope of being a Winner but the Vast Majority will always be Losers. With events in the news such as " Occupy Wall Street " which was a nation wide phenomanon, the first disorganized rumblings of discontent that the system is in need of serious reform has reared it's head.
Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Donald Trumph are 3 examples of the 3% whom owe EVERYTHING THEY HAVE to Middle Class America. I would not begrudge any of their success if there was a healthy middle class. But in my opinion A FEW (3%) have gotten themselves into positions in business that see the Middle Class of America as a CASH COW to be milked for all it's worth fueled by an ever growing number of self centered self serving ANARCHIST's who could careless if they destroy the economic fiber of America. Today in U.S.A the economic gap between those that have and those that do not can only be attributed to the " Winner take all" " Loser shut up and put up" brand of Capitolism that has been practiced. I want to state now so that there is no doubt in anyone's mind that "I believe in Capitolism!" but not this " Law of the Jungle" approach we have in practice today that is continuing to drive Middle Class America into the Working Poor Catagory.
There has been a lot of talk in the news lately about a " Fiscal Cliff" the U.S.A. is close to walking off do to numerous systemic problems. I will make a prediction at this time. " Things will go along relatively fine for the next few months as this global economic time bomb is delayed, but just wait until after the American election and I am willing to bet the people as a whole (less the 3% at the top) are going to get the economic shock of a lifetime that will rival the Great Deppression, the destruction in Germany at the end of WWII and the Collapse of the Soviet Union in 1990. It will be America this time that will need something equivilant to a MARTIAL PLAN to save the nation!
I appologize now to all whom read this Bull Board for my Rant that is off topic. I will refrain from such comments in future. Thank you.
