(OSMI) and the Shafter silver property (the Shafter Silver Project or Shafter), located in Presidio County, Texas and held Aurcana Silver Corporation. How do you protect yourself against a buy out of your exploration company by a big, well-healed company?  You may get in cheap, see your money sit for long periods then get a 40% gain on a buy out. That can happen to a producer like AUN also but a producer should be in a better position to avoid the buy out.  Could this be a reason for delaying a press release on drilling results?  Stay a smaller target as long as possible until production gains are well underway raising share price?  Although it seems it would be hard to keep the lid on significant new finds with so many geologists working in the field.
