I doubt it. Like KGN, VTR's Kiaka economics are very marginal at present. That's not to say that can't change with more high grade in Kiaka South but VTR still has a lot of work cut out for them to improve economics. AGG/Kobada could be a target as well, especially if the resource update comes in around 2MM oz and the FS confirms deposit economics.

 

This is a good development overall and we need more of this to light a fire under the junior market and nice to see a Mali operator get targeted despite the current political situation. Based on how EDV is trading though the market doesn't seem to think this deal is accretive to both which I think was the expectation of AVR and EDV management. Hard to believe AVR was once trading over $2.50.
