same reason the pigs chase out directors and management at most companies. They need to control your money and growth. Westfires management wanted a company that could grow from internally generated funds. Very few companies can achieve that. BUT.... if your a large shareholder you don't want slow controlled growth, you want immediate returns. Westfire was a warren buffett type company. Great management and the ability to grow from funds generated from operations. Like Suncor. What does Sprott do??? Asset management and raise funds so they can get their kick.  Theres nothing in it for them if  a company doesn't need outside money?  Like  corporate finance crack. It feeds them.
