RE: Are you an Idiot? RE: RE: RE: Let the Games Be

Curvature, you need to understand what net asset value means.  Of course the cost of financing is not included because it is a complete unknown.  On a takeover you assume deep pockets of the acquirer so your suggestion of 12 per cent interest or share issue dilution does not apply.  If you in fact have read the report you will know that that the capex is in fact substantial but the asset that Kiaka is has a value nearly twice the capex.  That has to have appeal to an acquirer looking for an initial base or to expand in West Africa.  As for AVR's producing mine, I did mention it in the post, and the fact is its in Mali.  My point was AVR may have value but if I had 389 million I would prefer VTR for a host of reasons.   Not that I have complete faith in the PFS.  The point was made by Brent Cook that potential acquirers do their own DD and if all the PFSs floating around were accurate there would be many more takeovers than are actually happening.   You are doubtful of a 200 per cent premium to today's share price, but you miss the point that no one would be able to pick up more than a few hundred thousand shares of VTR at these prices.  Once you add some volume, let alone the entire shares of VTR, then you have to deal with the long term holders like me, and you are not getting the shares for 75 cents from me, that is for sure.
