Anyway, at the last AGM, I asked Graeme about SinSusto and the need for clinical trials and/or approvals and he indicated that this wouldn't be necessary ... I presume it was animals at the time. Graeme indicated that all we need is to ensure that it is safe to use and produce SinSusto under good manufacturing standards.
I am not sure about the human applications. As it's been mentioned already, preliminary safety and efficacy data have proven promising and show none of the side effects seen with other anti-anxiety medications. As it's a botanical compound I would presume the same would apply. However, I think that Bioniche would like to "test the waters" so to speak before introducing it to humans.
I might add that it's been very well studied by researchers at the University of Ottawa along with their Central American colleagues.
