Management by reputation...................... only goes so far...I'm more in the "what have you done for me lately camp"...yes the CEO Mr Andrews has 35 years experience and his tenure for PennWest he did captain the price from 1992 (around 50 cents) to 2011 (around $46)...impressive over 18 years...he has done it..knows how to do it..has contacts...but what is his motivation...he is close to the end of his career..has all the money he needs...what is his motivation?...both WFE and GO are knocked for management not being able to bring out the real value.( although I don't think Lowell Jackson had a chance to continue to grow WFE)..what is Andrews going to do differently with a merged company...maybe the new proposed company needs a fresh start with hungry... motivated... skin in the game...mostly results based compensated management...experience is good but you are only as good as you can prove every day and quarter to quarter...reputation and experience only go so far...its all comes down to " don't tell me what you can do or what you have done......just show me the results now and going forward."...BB28
