oilstocks78, RIM has stated they will be downsizing in non-BB10 areas, while devoting resources to getting BB10 off-the-ground.  What many analysts and investors don't seem to understand is that a different skillset is required to work on BB10 vs. BB7. 

 

The "axe is falling", but not on the BB10 or QNX project teams.  Their morale *may* be low due to the stress of getting BB10 out the door, but these sorts of crunches are common in the industry.  As I said in an earlier post, QNX has a market-leading position in the RTOS space.  I'm skeptical that QNX employees are jumping ship en masse simply because there's a crunch around BB10 going.  That would be penny-wise, pound foolish.
