Yukon Zinc

Yukon Zinc

Thks for the updated info for TECK. Just assumed they were still pulling local resources for their Trail smelter.... but obviously if they can draw feed stock from Alaska they can draw it form anywhere in the world.

Another interesting consideration is the impact of the Wolverine mine ramp up by Yukon Zinc. This Chinese parented, Vancouver based company is mining Zinc just up the road from Cantung on the Campbell hiway and just south of Ross River and the Canol road on which Mactung is located. It's parent is a Moly company with global reach. Interesting that they are developing Zinc deposits just down the road from the old Faro mine and in proximity to the NTC's holdings. The road to Stewart could be a busy route in the not too near future.... wonder if they've looked around and thought about branching out, or how Teck views the ramp up of this mine in their back yard.
