Curvature, I disagree.  The article names Canacord's favourite small cap golds and lists Belo Sun Mining Corp (BSX on the TSX) which is an exploration company expecting to complete a feasibility study at about the same time as Volta.  Of interest to me was that since March, 2009 there were 3 cycles of small cap outperformance, with absolute gains of 77 per cent, 65 per cent and 30 per cent in each of those three cycles.  I do not believe that those figures are distinguishing producers from non-producers.  Anyway, most explorers are wannabe producers and will move with the sector, more or less.  I agree that the producers are moving more than explorers as of late because we are in a risk off market.  Volta is a long way from being a producer but its also far from being just an explorer - probably mine developer is the best description.
