RE: RE: Who benefits if the company runs out of ca In reading the recent posts of both sides of the arguments, I can't help but thinking that many arguments are currently going on in the board rooms od Excellon. The recent changes in management sort of reflect that.
I also, am trying to put my mind into the families of the excellon employees and workers at the mine. If this drags on, can you imagine the arguments that will go on within those families? How long will it take for these workers to realize that the protestors in the blockade are robbing them of their income, savings, food on the table, family harmony , their JOBS ?
It was mentioned that back in 2004 they got a better deal. That was before the current World depression. Say they get a better deal this time. Will they really??? Is the deal better after draining any savings, losing incom,e, losing homes, etc.??
Sooner or later, someone will realize that Silver prices will go much higher and that anyone connected with that mine ( including the government, who would just love the increased income tax) , will profit greatly. That has to be on the minds of management as spikes in Silver bull markets won't last forever. If the mine is shut down during any spike, much profit will be lost on top of the current losses for stoppage.
If it is true that Excellon was supposed to set up a water treatment plant and did not, they should. Some of these plants can be set up as modules and flown in in little time. Small cost when you have elephant profit potential!
As far as investors ---- I , for one am still buying while the price is around this .35 - .39 range. sure, yesterday's volume was high, about 1.1 million. But, what percentage is that to the 276 million shares in the float?? Who is holding the bulk of these shares? It would not surprise me if management, their friends, etc. were buying through 3rd parties during this rout, and quite possibly the reason for a lot of the stubbornness. Only they know how big this discovery is, and in their position why not take advantage of it at these low prices?
I will admit, it's scary, when you're a small investor as myself. But with my above thoughts, I took the gamble. And I wish the best of fortune to everyone who did, also!
As Always, Best of Luck
