as to barkerville, the jury is still out as to what in the world is going on. What is true is that the current ceo has been working on the property for about 20 years I believe, and it is Canada's largest past producer of alluvial gold. should be lotsa gold in them thar hills.

I don't know anything specific about fundraising, but yes, I do assume they're practically out of money. All depends on a loan or new equity.
