Equipment Shortfall from purchase I spoke to Jonathan Buick on the subject that was raised by Kettl this past week end on the so called missing equipment.
The following is my interpretation from our conversation.
Jonathan confirmed that some equipment that was part of the original purchase by Stans has not been delivered as agreed in the sales contract, but the equipment is in no way a production show stopper (it also seems to be a relatively low $ value issue). The equipment was however supposed to have been part of the package so it legally belongs to Stans and as a result is worth while complaining about to the original owners (re:reason for the article cited by Kettl). This is good practice for the same reasons as other actions Stans is presently taking (to set the stage correctly to continue a sustainable long term business in the country).
The equipment appears to be relatively small items easily moved and stored elsewhere (obviously). Negotiations to take delivery of the equipment are still underway, so there is no reason for any concern.
The issue does not appear to be of high enough importance or $ value to warrant specific investor information dissemination, its simply day to day business teething problems, that may have some political pressure value for Stans.
Jonathan mentioned that communication with the company may still have some loose ends because of recent relocation of David Vinokurov, and the best way to get answers to any questions is to call him directly for the time being (Jonathan Buick 416-915-0915 ).
