They have options, which are much better than shares in this instance.
Investor confidence matters if you are trying to raise more money from the market, which - as stated - they are not right now.
They may be in receipt of materially relevent information and unable to sell or buy. Don't think anyone's sold since in April? It wouldn't be the first time that the company's been a bit slow to release information (he said, dryly..).
But I do agree, on the face of it, that is a concern. Then again, no one's here with a 'blue chip' perspective, are they, I hope?
