Taylor says buy Comstock Metals

Jay Taylor, in the Aug. 15, 2012, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, says buy Comstock Metals Ltd., recently 33 cents. This is the first time he has recommended the stock. Comstock has released trench sampling results from its QV project in the Yukon's White Gold district, including 75 metres of 3.74 grams per tonne gold. Mr. Taylor is pleased. He notes the individual samples returned relatively consistent grades, ranging from 1.41 g/t gold over five metres to 7.31 g/t gold over five metres. The editor says Comstock is a good speculative play on the White Gold district; the QV property is surrounded by claims owned by Kinross. As well as QV, the company owns the Corona gold-silver property in Mexico. Corona lies south of Agnico-Eagle's Pinos Altos mine and Las Bolas project. It is also near land owned by the Mexican mining company, Penoles. Comstock's president is Rasool Mohammad, who has worked at BHP Mineral, Hunter Dickinson, Miramar Mining and Cumberland Resources. Mr. Taylor says Comstock could double or triple by year-end, depending on exploration updates and a rally in mining stocks. He warns, however, that investing in the company could tie up your capital for one or two years. Buy.
