Orvana Minerals Corp. is a multi-mine gold-copper-silver company. It is involved in the evaluation, development and mining of precious and base metal deposits. Its assets consist of the producing El Valle and Carles gold-copper-silver mines in northern Spain, the Don Mario gold-silver property in Bolivia, and the Taguas property located in Argentina. The El Valle and Carles mines and the El Valle processing plant are a producer of copper concentrate and dore. El Valle is located in Asturias, Northern Spain. The Don Mario Operation is in San Jose de Chiquitos, Southeastern Bolivia. The Don Mario Operation consists of a set of assets that includes Las Tojas orebody, and the previously mined out lower mineralized zone, upper mineralized zone and Cerro Felix mines. The Taguas Property consists of 15 mining concessions over an area of 3,273.87 hectares, held and managed by its subsidiary Orvana Argentina S.A. Taguas is located in the province of San Juan, on the eastern flank of the Andes.

The only thing that drove the stock down 10% in the 2 weeks since Q3 numbers came out are the cost of sales and of course the firings and resignations as a result of the misrepresentation of those costs.  How can you surprise on quarterly numbers when you are giving monthly updates.  No matter whether it was production or sell thru, they do not come close to reconciling.  So Stonecap called out the amateur hour and people are selling.

 

It indicates that management really does not have a handle on what is going on.  Same thing as the chemistry for Bolivia.  They are making stupid mistakes, firing someone and moving on to the next stupid move.  Despite their stupidity they are still going to make money now, but nobody knows how much, because the numbers are suspect. There really is little else to F'up now.  So instead of the
.09/share I was hoping for I will settle for something slightly better then
.03
