I agree with a few points, but to push the spot price north will require a large catalyst and volume and you yourself said 93 % of gold traders were already positive, so where is this push coming from the remaining 7 % negative/undecided won't do it, so it will have to be from new money outside of the gold arena, an increase in weightings/leverage or increased Government stock piling.  Basically fear and panic will do it and we all know there are enough horror shows in this film fest.
