RE: Silver Investment

RE: Silver Investment

First we have to decide if EXN is in a mining friendly jurisdiction. Given that the locals have blockaded the mine I am concluding that the jurisdiction is not friendly. However,it's possible this could have been mitigated by EXN management if they had befriended the locals and made them feel like they were benefitting from having the mine and gave them extra perks. Bottom line is that EXN needs the locals on their side. At the present time the locals and EXN are at odds and the mine is shut down. In addition, make no mistake, the law of the land in Mexico does not work the same way as it does in the US and Canada.

The grades are awesome and EXN was producing but it's all a BIG WASTE right now. How long will the blockade last? Who know but the mine has been closed since July 9th. So it's not days, not weeks, but months that we are counting in now.
