where is the relevance? Stock price is NOT the only relevant metric to which an INTELLIGENT investor pays heed... If one were to review trade volume I would hazard a hypothesis whereby ONLY a scant few shorters are actively moving shares from account to account... offering an "illusion" of suppressed share price and according to Germmy...displaying a systemic dishonesty in the trading practices of virtually anyone that dare voice an opinion contrary to his... accordingly I am a??? Liar??? talk about being irrelevant... I post ...not to promote...nor to bash... only to offer a contrary view... and maintain my good name...
Trade volume ... being at an average of far less than 1% daily... cannot possibly be used to assign a true statistical value to ONC... from a transactional prespective.. that is... the financial value of a POTENTIALLY EFFECTIVE co-therapy for some 60% of all cancers... is definitely NOT reflected in today's trading price whether today it is at a 52 week low.. or a 52 week high... to a cancer patient... the value is somewhat larger... and to those surrounding that patient, be it a mother, son, daughter, wife, husband, father...the POTENTIAL value of ONC's sole product is PRICELESS...
I have done the math in previous posts... and of course Germmy would NOT post those ... they would be contrary to his mypoia... BUT here it is... a "treatment" would run.. between 40-60K... for head and neck...with between 40 and 50 K people being diagnosed annually (with head and neck cancers).. assume that 10% or less are treatable with Reo.. 5 000 patients... x $50K /treatment (annually) = a sizeable revenue stream JUST as soon as ONC gets a rubber stamp from the FDA...
So.. is today's market value a reasonable reflection of ONC. value? yes... because ONC is NOT Reolysin... ONC could sell it's patents... and technology tomrrow for X dollars... and provide a "special dividend" to it's long time believers and investors... and managment could fold up shop and retire to the Caymans at the board's discretion...
So... there it is... Germmy has been staring at the share price scroll for so long... he has simply tied the value of REO to ONC's share price... when in fact.. they are NOT one in the same... all one has to do is aks themselves... what would the value of ONC be IF they did not have REOlysin...would ONC be worth MORE if they were developing more than a single product?... if you ask me... (and no one has really)... BUT if you did... I would say that anyone holding ONC paper...creating a val;ue of more than $200MM is making an incredibly large investment on faith.. and faith alone... a positive news release... on the effectiveness of the phase III not only affirms that faith... it should also provide adequate financial rewards for those "faithfull"
Do as you choose... BUT do your own DD and as always it's just IMHO...
