There are actually quite a few gold and silver stocks that have made reasonably convincing rebounds from the May lows, suggesting that for the better companies in the sector the turn-around has started.  Unfortunately, VTR isn't in that category.  Maybe if the entire sector rebounds and catches the public's imagination we'll get back above a dollar, just on the 'in a hurricane even pigs can fly' theory. 

 

One thing that's becoming apparent (based on recent hiring, and board members) is the apparent relationship between VTR and EXN - which is another of the big pigs/wealth destroyers of the TSX development/junior producer universe.  Check out the EXN chart for a preview of what's going to happen here.
