RE: Wateron /Hawley / ? Debt isn't always bad if there is a means to pay it off. Debt can be better than share dilution to pay for an acquisition if the share price is low. They are getting something back afterall. It's a fast way to expand. Mineral Ridge they acquired along with debt turned out well. Scorpio is paying off debt at a rate of $2.5 million a quarter as I recall, $10 million a year. That should be enough to service the debt on the new acquisition. The new mine is supposedly not far from production and that will help with the payment.
If Waterton takes over Scorpio what are they going to do, run all the mines themselves?
