RE: Trying to Sweeten the Pot

RE: Trying to Sweeten the Pot

Folks,

Does anyone have any sense how today's news release impacts the credibility of the fairness opinions already provided as part of the public record? If the deal was already fair, why would it suddenly be changed? Does changing the proposal render the previously provided fairness opinions as null and void or do they need to be reaffirmed with some explanation provided?

It also seems like a challenge could be raised about the opportunity for all parties to cast/recast their votes given that the news release came out on the same day as the Proxy Deposit Date that is reported online when you use www.proxyvote.com. Is that really reasonable or is a two days notice even reasonable?

IMO, It seems like the time is close for Yellow Media to stop this fumbling around, withdraw the proposal and start over with the lessons learned from this debacle and create a more acceptable proposal.
