RE: E: Material Change NR: Call BGM >>In other words Ovis... if you had the facts...<<
Chilly, I don't consider information from IR as fact. Given what they have said in the past about the report, I'd say IR gives out information closer to fiction.
No, I prefer to work from authoritative databases such as sedar where the filing of a false document has consequences. For example, consider the consequences for BGM for that June 28th press release, a press release which was made without the supporting evidence of an NI43-101 compliant report. BGM is potentially in for more consequences if the replacement report on Cow Mountain falls significantly short of the June 28th press release. Anyone on purchased shares on June 28th on the basis of that news release would potentially have a good case for a settlement with the company IF the compliant report ultimately comes out significantly different.
Of course if you prefer IR giving you sunshine where the sun don't shine then be my guest :)
Ok, on serious note, IR I expect often gives out good and useful information. They are no doubt worth the money the company doesn't have the cash to pay them. But my point is that if IR gives out wrong information there isn't any consequence so really what good is information from IR... Might make your feel good...
