IRON?

IRON?

I thought that Sudbury's nickel tenor was around 3% from the internet but couldn't find where I found the reference. I found Voisey's Bay nickel tenor at 3% to 5%. It occurs to me that since those deposits were highly profitable and that Maniitsoq's tenor is higher at 6% to 8%, may be even more so, perhaps that IRON should also be considered mineable in the exploration targets especially where the deposits are large, shallow and include the other metals.  True, that the FE price has dropped with the weak world economy but that's not permanent. I keep in mind with Capstone's approach with the Santo Domingo project approach in planning to crush the ore to produce a marketable FE/CU slurry down a pipeline to port. Why not with FE/CU/NI at Maniitsoq? Any water will work at Santo Domingo. They are using salt water.  I remember that the project could have been faster than it has been (i.e. before Capstone acquired the Santo Domingo project) as FE was considered late requiring more critical path Metallurgical testing and drilling. Perhaps it should be considered earlier in targeting and planning, especially since there may be more time as the project appears to be seasonal … and these guys are real smart .
