RE: RE: We can only hope... The thing is, people slam critics of his speaking by saying "how can you be so cold?" But, the poor presentation represents so many elements of weakness and exposure for the company. I don't doubt he is a very, very smart man - he wouldn't be there otherwise. BUT, there's many ways to overcome this.....
- Prepared, written presentations
- Speaking coaches (i.e. - "The King's Speech")
- Have the VP (Mario Stefano) speak, or Tim Gagnon, or Mark Utting
Name one great leader in the modern era who couldn't present their ideas effectively through speech. THEY DON'T EXIST! This would be a non-issue for a private company, but for a public company it's disastrous.
He's smart, I want him on the team, but get a company representative or official presenter.
