It is up to others to make the decision whether this info has any value. There are many examples of the big three carriers in Canada following each other when one makes a change to pricing, plans etc.
It is true that GT looks fine and has enjoyed a successful run for years. It is also true they are paying dividends and are continuing the normal course buyback but this is not a normal publically traded company. It is controlled by one family and members of that family are the few beneficiaries of stock options so paying dividends is like paying themselves. The stock performance has been dismal in 2012 since the split. Down 42%. Why is that is everything looks so rosey?
As for the expert comment, really, this is a Bullboard for amateurs to speak their mind and share thoughts. Speculation, information sharing and trying to predict the future is the Stock Market.
