Was wondering the same thing myself.  It has nothing to do with the street.  The mining game and the stock game are different animals entirely.  Small investors are up against hedge funds that play the spread, or

short on a hunch, or do whatever their black boxes say for 2 cents.  Who knows.  Patience, grasshopper!
