RE: RE: RE: RE: 52 Week high Hi Larson6:
I don't use margins, even though I do draw on my bank line of credit. To me that's a safer way to invest. I also make sure my investments must always have at least a 3 to 1 ratio to my debt level to make sure I don't over extend myself financially. I sleep very well at night knowing I will always have a roof over my head as the house won't be foreclosed by the bank anytime soon.
I stopped adding to my STO position when I reached 26,000 shares as I find this stock too hard to sell and too hard to accumulate. It seems to have a very tiny following in the market and it's tightly controlled by insiders. I often wonder how the insiders managed to buy so many shares in the opens market. I have problem selling a couple of thousand at one time trying to cover a purchase of another stock.
Sometime ago I bought a stock I wanted first but was unable to fully cover the new purchase with the stock I got rid off. Tried to sell 2,000 STO to cover the short fall and there were no buyers at all for almost half a day! That's when I stopped adding to my STO position. The stock is too illiquid for my liking.
Anyway the recent constant insider buys only can mean one thing - some big news is about to break that's favourable to the company. This is much like in horse racing of following the trainer to the betting window and watch him load up betting on his own horse. The smart thinking is he must know something. Well, he could be a lousy trainer too and over evaluated his own horse. There are not absolute certainty in this world other than death and taxes.
