and perhaps I'm a little over confident on this one but...
I do prefer to invest in mining jurisdictions wher permitting, environmental assessments etc get done at a reasonable timeline. I've invested in and continue to hold Timmins and Silvercrest, both in Mexico and both built quickly from a mining time frame.
Also if you look at Goldcorps Los Filos mine which is next door to Oroco's Xochipala, their cash cost is approx $550 oz and the geology in the area is consistent (see Torex, Newstrike) .
Not so sure Keegan is a good comparison as they're in Ghana, Africa, low grade find.
and yes you probably have been at this investing thing longet than I, I only started in 1986...
