Americas Gold and Silver Corporation is a Canada-based precious metals mining company with multiple assets in North America. The Company owns and operates the Cosala Operations in Sinaloa, Mexico, manages the 60%-owned Galena Complex in Idaho, United States, and is re-evaluating the Relief Canyon mine in Nevada, United States. The Company also owns the San Felipe development project in Sonora, Mexico. The 100%-owned Cosala Operations are located in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico and consist of about 67 mining concessions that cover approximately 19,385 hectares (ha). The 60% owned Galena Complex is located in Idaho’s Silver Valley. The Relief Canyon Mine is located in Pershing County, Nevada. Its landholdings cover approximately 25,000 acres, which include the Relief Canyon Mine asset and lands surrounding the mine in all directions. The San Felipe silver-zinc-lead project is located in Sonora, Mexico.

I have been in and out of this stock a couple of times. I luckily missed most of the crash in the stock that followed the announcement that they will redo the resource estimate. I think the panic over the resource estimate was way overdone. The market can really panic when there is exaggeration on the part of the company exposed. That is how they went down from over $2 to under 50c. The recent drill results have been good so I just see the company was a bit too generous with the RE and realized their problem when the silver was not there for mining and are now looking for and finding the real stuff again. There seems to be lots of it thus the rise in share price again. Mind you, this is coming from a guy that sold some today but I bought real cheap and am OK with leaving some on the table.
