'China remains an enigma, he said, having visited the giant nation at least 10 times in the past year. On the one hand, no one can verify "a 100- to 200 million-ton pile of steel somewhere" in the country that has put a damper on recent met coal price negotiations.'

'Chinese demand for met coal is set to more than double by 2025, driven by steel operations shifting to coastal regions and larger blast furnaces, the Australian government's commodities forecasting agency said.'
