RE: RE: RE: Parabola nearing?

I agree with you 100%, results from the bulk sample would be in order , as long as it does ``nt get picked over by the contractor, it has happened in the past when you have a nuggetty orebody...DYODD... Cheers Moe4u Taylor Project
The Taylor Project is strategically located along the PDFZ, approximately 70 kilometres west of Holt
Mill. The Taylor Project is host to two gold deposits that occur along the PDFZ, namely the West
Porphyry and Shoot zones.
The Taylor Project is underlain by a sequence of mafic volcanic and ultramafic volcanic rocks to the
south and the Porcupine Group of metasedimentary rocks to the north. Carbonate, sericite, albite,
and fuchsite alteration as well as felsic porphryritic intrusions lie peripheral to or halo areas of
increased quartz+/-albite+/-carbonate veining accompanied by increased sulphide content which
are hosts to gold mineralization. The zones often consist of multiple lenses, in general, striking
approximately ENE and dipping from 25 to 50 degrees south.
During 2011, drilling was focussed on further delineation of the West Porphyry Zone to provide
additional data in areas where previous drilling was widely spaced, thereby providing higher
confidence in defining the gold distribution.
As of December 31, 2011, the Company completed an updated resource estimate and calculation of
mineral reserves for the Taylor Project, as part of preparation for a pre-feasibility study. The study
outlined mineral reserves for the West Porphyry Zone (“WPZ”) of 0.9 million tonnes at a grade of
5.45 g/t Au containing approximately 173,000 ounces of gold, included within measured and
indicated mineral resources (which include the West Porphyry and Shoot Zone) totalling 2.6 million
tonnes grading 5.42 g/t Au for 0.5 million ounces of contained gold in the measured and indicated
categories, and 1.9 million tonnes grading 3.96 g/t Au for 0.2 million ounces of contained gold in the
inferred category. Results of the pre-feasibility study are being released concurrently with the
financial information on February 16, 2012. A NI 43-101 compliant technical report will be available
under the Company’s profile on SEDAR at www.sedar.com and on the Company’s website at
www.sasgoldmines.com on or before March 30, 2012.
Hislop North Project
In the second half of 2011, SAS commenced a surface drilling program along the north-western
boundary of the Hislop Mine property, where recent drilling conducted by its neighbours returned
encouraging drilling results. It is interpreted that north-south trending structures that host the 147
Zone may transect onto the Hislop property. Also, this is an area where the PDFZ has several
subparallel splay faults that are interpreted to be the host for gold mineralization in this area. The
Company’s 2011 drilling program returned initial results of 12.41 g/t Au over 9.0 metres, including
16.20 g/t Au over 6.0 metres (see press release dated February 1, 2012, available under the
Company’s profile on SEDAR at www.sedar.com or on the SAS website at www.sasgoldmines.com).
Drilling has resumed at the Hislop North Project with one drill currently active
.
Garrison Creek Project
In June 2010, SAS commenced surface drilling on the Garrison Creek Project (“Garrison Creek”), its
most grass roots exploration target. The project, located approximately 20 kilometres due west of the
Holloway–Holt Project, is owned 90% by the Company and 10% by Goldcorp (Canada) Inc. The
program, which was intended to assess a number of conceptual targets and/or where there has been
limited historical exploration, returned encouraging results. There are two types of targeted rocks;
first, the Garrison Fault zone, a northwest-striking structure that cross-cuts lithological units and
earlier regional structures; and second, along the PDFZ.
Along the Garrison Fault, initial drilling in 2010 revealed high gold grades associated with abundant
quartz veins within a much wider, prospective zone of alteration and lower grade gold
25
mineralization. To date, the most significant drilling has intersected sheared and heavily veined
syenite with hole GC10-06 returning 0.81 g/t Au over 187.6 metres; which includes a central higher
grade zone averaging 4.42 g/t Au over 22.9 metres (see press release dated September 15, 2010,
available under the Company’s profile on SEDAR at www.sedar.com or on the SAS website at
www.sasgoldmines.com). Recent drilling has continued to extend this intermittent zone of lower
grade mineralization, with associated higher grade, narrow sections, over a strike length of
approximately 250 metres and from surface to a vertical depth of 500 metres.
Along the PDFZ, limited drilling returned 3.20 g/t Au over 20 metres, within a zone that returned
1.15 g/t Au over 89.5 metres in drill hole GC10-020. The mineralization is hosted within strongly
sheared and heavily altered ultramafic metavolcanic rocks that are cross-cut by syenite dykes. Drill
hole GC11-001 tested down dip of the intercept in GC10-020 and returned 0.68 g/t Au over 27.7
metres. These holes are located 50 metres along strike from historical drill hole 46-16 that returned
2.49 g/t Au over 13.2 metres. Surface drilling at the Garrison Project has been temporarily
suspended in order to provide the time necessary to construct a geologic model for future drilling.Taylor Project
