Thinking Out Loud So the stock is gonna go up unless it goes down. Well, that certainly helps.
In the meantime, while everybody is dithering, may I offer the outrageous notion that Canamex is not gonna go down, nor is it gonna go to 39.3 cents. In my very humble and totally irresponsible opinion, Canamex has all the essential ingredients to lead, not follow, the gold wave that is about to engulf the financial markets.
The importance of being in Nevada cannot be overstated. As the U.S. devalues itself out of financial Armageddon, the price of gold will appreciate not just lock-step, but disproportionately. It is all about expectations. When the excrement hits the proverbial fan, as inevitability it must, there is going to be a mad scramble to get one's assets into a safe haven. T-bills don't work. The yield is negative in real terms
What does work, is to be invested in a mining friendly jurisdiction surrounded by elephants. As my poster-friend Rockstar observed, the hundreds of feet of gold found freakishly in the discovery hole did not fall out of the sky. It came from somewhere. As Homer would say DUH!
And guess what? We have just put on the payroll possibly the brightest person on the planet to figure it out.
Dr Leave-it-to-me did her doctoral thesis on epithermal deposits in Nevada. Now do you think 30 years later she is going to throw it all away and risk her career jumping onto the bandwagon of an unknown Canadian junior with a net worth less than some people have in their houses?
So why would she do it?
How about: "While there is no such thing as certainty in the geology business, I think I have an idea as to where the feeder zone may be located..Let me at it. Barrick is boring. I want to have some fun for a change"
Now do you really need to know anything else?
