I don't think this is a particularly reasonable stance to take Chris.
In the response letter to you, Mr. Tapics said that they were consulting with the owners of the railway and the Island Corridor Foundation for feasible use of the rail.
Remember, a transportation route has to be economically feasible, it cannot be demanded of if it isn't.
Roads were meant for both personal and commercial use. Railway is just for commercial. I don't doubt that CEC is or has been evaluating the use of rail, but in the end, it needs to be economical and practical, IMO.
FWIW, Quinsam Coal uses trucks to move its coal from the mine to the barges. Rail feasibility and availability does not exist everywhere mines are built. If and where it is possible, rail is used. Where it isn't, trucks are used.
