RE: RE: CASH FLOW of course price matters. it matters for new production to be hedged at higher prices or receive higher current market prices for their new production. it also matters for when their current hedges come off the books. fine that may be in the future, but the market is not gonna give a company approaching its bank line limits credit for hedging some of their current production while the commodity falls. The market will look ahead and say - whats gonna happen when the hedges come off and nat. gas is trading at historical lows and the company has used up all its wiggle room on its banklines?
