RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Meeting Last Week
RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Meeting Last Week Ordinary annual general meetings are pretty limited by statute as to what can be transacted. If they call it an "extraordinary meeting" then other non-statutory transactions can happen, but with such an extraordinary meeting, they have to give special notice to shareholders. This regular annual meeting will involve the shareholders present, personally or by proxy, electing any new directors, but old directors just get rolled into another year. A lot of papers are signed. The amount paid to officers and directors can at times be discussed at these meetings. In short, I wouldn't get too excited about this meeting unless they at some point give notice that it is an "extraordinary meeting" and then I would pay more attention.
