RE: So Long my Friends ! Adieu Cur...!

RE: So Long my Friends ! Adieu Cur...!

Herbeapuce, good for you.  You can now claim your capital loss for tax purposes.  Since your cost was $2.30, it made little difference whether you got 50 cents or 43 cents.  There may be other tax-related sellers in the next few months.  Herbeapuce is not intending to return to CUR.  However, for those who are, the risk is CUR will announce resolution to the Signal problem, the stock will pop and they will have to buy back (at least 31 days later) at a higher price.  The question is:  when will they resolve the Signal problem.  I think there is a strong incentive to fix it before October 31, their fiscal year-end.  Otherwise management will have to explain it in great detail in the annual report and annual information form and pass an audit on it.

One other point I want to make.  It does no good to complain about the company on this board.  We cannot help you.  You must write to the company.  Even better if you can write to a member of the Board of Directors.  You probably will not get a reply.  They have not replied to my note.  But if you wish to file a complaint with a provincial securities commission, their complaint form asks you what steps you have taken to resolve your problem with the company and what did the company say.  If you say nothing, the company will assume you don't care.  If they don't reply, that doesn't look good (for them) in a securities commission complaint form.
