RE: re: re: What are we to do? Hi Joystick, for McGold, I think it's better to drop it. From what we've seen, the continuity is not so good. They have 2 major prospects and they should stick to them, i.e Ikungu and Crevier. For Crevier, the first I.R.R. has been done with the scope study when Tantalum was at 150. The PQ govn. shoots at everything right now, but I think that they will have to back track a little bit when they will awake with a stagnant economy picture for the next 2 years and get no more money coming in. They are lighting fires everywhere and try to give the money they don't have. They give candies just like Duplessis did in the 50's.
If we come back to Crevier, negociations are underway with a partner, but they will go in when and if the feasability study proves to be economic. MDN still get 2 obstacles in front of them: the power line from Hydro. Stornoway Diamond dropped the proposition from Hydro because it was too expensive. It could be the same for Crevier. The other one like you said is the royalty project from the PQ who will cut the legs to the miners. They don't remember the mistake they did in the late 70's when they bought Asbestos Corporation mines to do transformation. They spent 100 million of tax payers money without any result.
Let see what the first half of 2013 will give us.
