RE: Where to get news releases via email

RE: Where to get news releases via email

ak....In regards to getting news and other articles on a stock or anything..I have found the best way is to use Google, you go to their home page  then click "more" on toolbar, then click again "even more" and a large menu opens up and you will see on lower left side "alerts", select this and it will give you many options such as just news, blogs, or anything, it also lets you select immediately or once a day.  I have found if best if you select anything instantly, but you also get most of the S/H posts.  If I have a large position in anything, I set up a seperate gmail account for each position, which is not many and then I can quickly browse down and see if I see anything of interest, if not I mass delete.  By doing this, and selecting everything, I have often found good info, such as articles and/or recommendations by advisors in addition to any press release.  Sometimes a press release might seem like good news to you, but soon thereafter you might see where someone else reads it different or knows something that was not revealed in the news media.  Just my 2 cents
