RE: CEC CO2 capture is a great idea but practically it remains a pipe dream. The rock formations needed to store the CO2 are not conveniently located to existing sites or sites conducive to having a coal plant. Once the CO2 is in the ground it does not tend to stay as well as we'd like and... Since you are generally filling what was once oil and gas fields with a much lighter gas... The CO2 gas takes up far more physical volume. We simply produce too much CO2. The only real solution so far is replacement or reduction.
