objectives and milestones

objectives and milestones

In the Short Form Prospectus  of the Rights Offering on November 28, 2011 the company stated;

Response has established the following key business objectives and milestones in connection with the use of
proceeds described above:
(a) in the area of product and market development, the Corporation intends to release at least one
new assay onto its reader system and introduce its products into at least one new geographic
market; and
(b) in the area of net margin improvements, the Corporation intends to improve its gross margin
by 10% year-over-year.  The Corporation expects to achieve that goal, in part, through the
product and market expansions described in point (a) above.

Wonder when we will here something about new products and/or markets? aparently they have been hiring reaseach people so there must be some development work going on.  Unfortunately FDA approval for any thing new seems to take a really long time. I think we may expect an increase in West Nile tests and if this goes with a continuing increase in Asian sales we may get a decent report for the next Q.
