RE: coo steps down The wording in the NR, that Sparling "has agreed to step down as Chief Operating Officer" sure makes it sound like there has been some conflict within the management of SGG. He was hired as COO in Feb 2011 by the former CEO, Patrick Soares -- but there's been a lot of changes at SGG since then, and maybe he didn't get along with Zbeetnoff and Netolitzky. He's not one of the former Brett team.
You can't help wondering if he's a fall guy for the less than stellar results of this summer's drilling work.
