RE: We Need Lets not forget that a new CEO has just been appointed.
Consider what his priorities and his concerns might be, before he starts thinking about news releases.
Among the many things he'll want to accomplish, is likely:
Meeting with key employees, stakeholders, large investors, suppliers, regulatory bodies et al.
Deciding if any employees need to be retained or let go. If so, sourcing replacements.
Reviewing any existing agreements, contracts etc.
Evaluating progress, and deciding whether the company is in a viable state and should be proceeding, or whether it should be sold off.
As a former director, he should certainly have some insight already, but being a Director and being a CEO are not the same.
