RE: RE: Bharti

scissors14 - Interesting post....  I am wondering... can't one see how "wonderful" Forbes & Manhattan managers are?  If one doesn't understand that story, imho one put's their PF at huge risk by buying F&M  companies.  If one does understand the F&M story, why would one put any money in any stock they own/manage?

.

Remember, when you buy a stock you are hiring that management team to make you some money!  If the manager has a terrible record, why do you think he's gunna change his stripes anytime soon.  there are plenty of companies run by good professionals who will be good steward and who one could trust to make some money.  So why scr*w around with those with a bad track record?  or are you lining up future tax loss selling?

.

hrattle has it right in his comments here.  He learned the way many of us do, by getting burned by sweet talk etc.  Learn from the experience, and go forward with a better trained eye and a commitment NOT to make the same mistake again, and again and again.

Good luck!
