The southern section of the basin produces approximately 1,888,888 barrels of oil per year and is being developed by China’s ECO Orient Energy Limited, a subsidiary of the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, Kazakhstan's Berlanga Group and Loyz Energy Limited of Singapore.
