RE: TID thoughts ... Nice summary rapid_fire. On the point of HRT, I mentioned in a previous post that the an arbitrator has been selected in Brazil and the arbitration process is fairly standardized and somewhat lengthy. However I was told last week by management that the process takes between 12-18 months but very likely no longer.
On the matter of rig utilization, management also confirmed that of the four rigs (two from Trinidad and the other two from HRT) one is offically contracted and there is interest in the other three though the two mobile rigs that HRT defaulted on will take some time to be generating revenue on. As well these type of rigs are not as efficient in a standard nornal drilling environment. They are meant to be flown into hostile remote areas in modules and put together there and as a result of this application the user pays a much higher day rate. They would not get the same high day rate if the rig was used in a normal driveable application. The three that are being refurbished are still not complete yet but I was told that completion is very close.
Keep the great thoughts coming!!
