It is not unusual that companies receives offers all the time.  I know that Grand Cache Coal was being courted and received serveral offers before there take over years later for less than previous.  It is up to the Broad wheather to bring it to shareholders or not and if it is in the best interest of shareholders.  On occation the purchaser will try a hostile take over - taking the offer directly to shareholders.  If Broads were to bring every offer to shareholders, it may give the false impression the company is in play and not get the best value for sharesholders.  This is what we elect the Board for. 

With that said, I don't know or have not heard from the company if offers have been made and this is all speculation at this point.  Many of use have been hearing this for serveral years now and I wish it would stop.  I'm not a shareholder in hopes that the company will be taken over (even though I would not object); I am a shareholder in the company because of it potential and this looks like a good investment.
