News from Western and Passport Potash

Western, who has been very public with statements of them finding a partner in the very near future did a massive 15 million dollar private placement last week.  Makes you wonder if any of their potential partners are interested if they felt they needed to raise that much cash, considering Western is very nearly done with the development stage of their project and only has minimal operating expenses to pay for.

 

Passport Potash (US potash junior in Arizona) finally came out with their updated NI 43-101 Report.  They have a wopping 41 m/tonnes of measured and indicated and 87 m/tonnes of inferred.  Not terrible for the first real numbers they have been able to come out with, but not nearly big enough to draw the attention of any serious financial partners or offtake agreements.
