Used to own HTM several years ago but sold due to disappointing operating results.  Geothermal looks attractive because it is one of the few green energy sources that can be used for base power.  But right now I would prefer to own oil producers with big upside or precious metals mining stocks.  

I have looked at Carpathian before.  I like the near term production AND the big reserves of their second project.  

 

I have small positions in several producing metals miners.  SLW, EDV.to, SSL.to, AUN.v, CSI.to.  I would probably add to those existing positions rather than start another small position.  But for a non producer, Carpathian looks good.  Once they get that first mine going, they should be off to the races.
